The content does not replace individual professional advice, construction planning, structural review, site supervision, acceptance inspection, standards review, or official approval. Users must independently verify whether a guide is suitable for the specific case, location, structure, materials, and applicable regulations.

Construction work is carried out solely at the user's own responsibility. Professional users, tradespeople, construction companies, and workers in particular remain obliged to comply with applicable laws, standards, accident prevention rules, manufacturer instructions, technical rules, and generally accepted engineering practices.

Construction work can cause significant personal injury, property damage, and financial loss. Work involving structural integrity, electricity, gas, water, roofing, load-bearing components, fire protection, or safety-relevant components may only be performed or checked by qualified professionals.

Baukey is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. In cases of slight negligence, Baukey is liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations; in that case, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Where a monetary cap is legally permissible, liability is capped for free users at EUR 100 (approx. USD 110) and for paid (Premium) subscribers at the amount paid to Baukey in the preceding 12 months (in USD for payments made in USD). Mandatory statutory liability, including under product liability law, remains unaffected.

Content, comments, videos, or external links posted by users are not permanently reviewed in advance. We do not assume responsibility for their accuracy, safety, or legality. Problematic content can be reported to us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is, to the extent legally permissible, Germany. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

By posting comments, videos, photos, or other content on Baukey, you grant Baukey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute this content within the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting Baukey. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to Premium features until then. Already-paid periods are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. Cancellation can be managed in your account settings or by contacting support.
